Plus Translation becomes an associate partner of the SDL company for the SDL LSP Parter Program.

The SDL LSP Partner Program was developed by the SDL company (UK), a leading vendor of linguistic technology solutions specially for translation companies and translation bureaus. The objective of the program is mutually beneficial collaboration: exchange of expertise, knowledge and resources to improve the quality of translation and localization services on the one hand, and improvement of software for this industry on the other.

By participating in the SDL LSP Partner Program translation service suppliers can demonstrate before the customers their mastery of the most advanced tools for automation of translation, since the program requires them not only to license the latest versions of the system (currently it's SDL Trados Studio 2009) but also certify their personnel via the SDL Certification Program, with special terms applicable.

The SDL company, on its part, undertakes to provide advertising support for participating companies, coordinated activities and initiatives, and expertise exchange. Moreover, direct contact with the SDL company allows to receive assistance from developers as well as obtain recommendations concerning optimum methods for the organization of the translation process and first-hand information about the most efficient ways of using SDL Trados systems.
