Software Localization

Localization is a complex and comprehensive procedure that includes interface translation and adaptation, help system and software manuals. Our translators' extensive experience provides for software localization at any level – it can be as simple as translating menus, dialog contents and messages, or as deep as interface restructuring, executable and library processing, compiling help files, manuals layout, etc.

We can provide the following services:

• Software translation: the customer supplies a foreign-language product and receives a ready program in the Russian language.
• Help system translation: the customer provides a help file which is processed in a special way and translated, then rebuilt as a single file that is supplied to the customer.
• Manual translation: the customer provides documents that are translated and then undergo DTP processing and reconciliation with the original formatting. The customer receives ready-to-use documents.

• Customer file translation: the customer provides prepared files in the required formats; we return these materials in Russian, and the final integration, adaptation and rebuilding are carried out by the customer.
• Full service: the customer provides software, help system and manuals, and after special processing gets them back ready-to-use and tested; no further operations are required on the part of the customer.

Depending on the services provided, all processed materials are verified and tested for the following issues:

• Correct alignment and placement of interface elements
• Functionality of the interface
• Correspondence of hot keys
• Consistency of help files or manuals with the interface
• Updated screenshots in the manuals
• Correct date, time, number, paper formats
